JOB SUMMARY: MSI seeks a Project Engineer to be responsible for setting up and tracking project documents such as submittals & schedules, reviewing project specifications for project compliance, and working with both internal & external team members to ensure project success.
Essential Functions:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
Prepare project submittals based on plans and specifications.
Work with the transfer of the project from Preconstruction to the Operations Team including review of scope, schedule, estimated hours per trade, and project requirements.
Prepare, submit, track, and revise project documentation to customers, general contractors, and engineering firm.
Prepare project tracking documentation for project operations team.
Assist project team with tracking of project performance based on cost and scope completed.
Review, submit, and track project closeout documentation.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
In-depth knowledge of HVAC&R systems and related supporting utilities.
Knowledge of local and industry codes that regulate the HVAC&R industry.
Good Verbal and written communications skills.
Computer Skills Excel
Microsoft Projects
Pipefitting Skills
Technical Skills
Ductwork Skills
Essential Functions:
Mechanical Engineering Degree desired
Industry related experience a plus
