Job Title: -- IT Systems Analyst

Job Summary: -- This position is a remote position serving a wide variety of EMCOR operating companies including on-premise assistance with mergers and acquisitions. This role will troubleshoot and fix issues as well as liaise with various Senior IT Directors to facilitate technology and security implementations and improvements across EMCOR’s existing operating companies as well as any future acquisitions. This position will be responsible for performing post-acquisition integration, assisting newly acquired entities with the conversions required to meet EMCOR’s standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: --

  • Work with new and existing operating companies with sophisticated IT challenges as they arise.

  • Assist with conducting IT assessments as it relates to best practices, security solutions and overall health of environment.

  • Work closely with IT and Executive management in design, budget and implementation of technology.

  • Provide critical support services to Directors and Senior Directors within the organization.

  • Participate in a large IT community to solve problems that may impact others.

  • Assist with time sensitive initiatives during mergers and acquisitions.

  • Design and implement solutions based on experience as well as from a long list of approved vendors.

  • Ensure Operating Company compliance with Corporate SOPs and industry best practices.

  • Frequent travel (upwards of 50% of year) throughout the United States assisting EMCOR companies.

Qualifications: --

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.

  • Seven years of previous technology design, implementation and troubleshooting experience.

  • Practical hands-on IT and Security experience including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, PowerShell, Server OS, Virtualization, Backups, IT Asset management, BCP, Endpoint Protection, Cloud, etc.

  • Experience with a wide variety of Security and IT technologies and willingness to stay in front of emerging technologies.

  • Healthy understanding of network routing and firewall functionality.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to work in a remote position and travel as needed.
