Job Title: MEP Project Engineer

Department: MEP/ Engineering

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 / Yearly

Location: San Jose, CA

Job Summary: Air Systems Inc. is looking for a MEP Project Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time position reporting to the Engineering Manager. This position will specialize in design engineering or project management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Estimating

  • Requesting quotes (RFQs)

  • Complete takeoffs

  • Prepare summary of costs

  • Draft proposal letters

  • Design

  • Complete load calculations

  • Specify equipment

  • Prepare T24 documentation

  • Develop permit drawings using AutoCAD and Revit

  • Project Management Support

  • Prepare Requests for Information (RFIs)

  • Coordinate with field personnel

  • Perform job site visits

  • Review and compile submittal packages

Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC/R concentration preferred

  • 3-5 + years HVAC Experience in project engineering

  • Experience working with Revit

  • I.T. Certification, P.E. license a plus
