Job Title: Millwright Pan Replacement

Job Summary:

The maintenance technician will complete required PM and repairs on the client’s facility equipment. This position will be crossed trained and utilize a “flow to the work” concept. The successful technician will be an excellent communicator and have exceptional follow up capabilities. The technician will exhibit an ownership attitude.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead in Pan Truck mat replacement. 90%

• Lead in repair and assist in repairs of process piping leaks and problem. Analyze the problem and take corrective action. 5%

• Operate fork lift, boom lift and/or scissor lift as required. Maintain certifications. 2.5%

• Mobilize tools, equipment etc., for each jobs requirements as directed. 1.0%

• Do all functions of the job as per all OSHA and Plant Safety requirements. 1.5%

Education:

HS diploma

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of relevant experience

• Valid driver’s license, Fork truck operator’s license, JLG operator’s license

• Ability to read and comprehend English

Competencies:

• Ability to calculate simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

• Ability to solve complicated problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standards exist. Determine the best and most efficient means to make the repair.

• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

• Ability to operate equipment previously mentioned.

• Ability to work in a team environment as a Lead and as a Helper.

• Exhibit strong customer service skills

Physical Demands:

While performing the duty of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste or smell 100% of the time. Talk and hear 100% of the time. The employee must lift 10 to 50 pounds more than 1/3 of the time and no lifting of heavier pounds. No special vision requirements for this job.
